Hi, I ask this on behalf of my students.

What reference book do you recommend for Biology STPM?

During my time, I find the local textbooks a bit lacking, I am not sure it has improved. Fortunately, my teacher gave us very complete notes, which was way better than any textbooks. I am thinking of getting a few copies of a good reference book for the students as it is impossible for them to get them here in sandakan. Thanks.

I use

Longman's Pre-U Text SPM Biology vol 1 & 2, Lee Ching,

Oxford Fajar, ACE AHEAD Biology vol 1 & 2, Charlie Lok et al

Particularly love Biology, Campbell 3rd edition ... this is not the latest but I bought is sometime ago.

hi.. do u have any advices for last minute studying for bio? the chapters on genetics are quite a challenge to me.. and i have 2 more months to go! aiks... any suggestions?

You need to understand clearly the fundamentals of genetics. You might want to ask specific questions and some people might be able to help.
